The Solveig Competition - is a competition within the LidalNorth summer festival in Bergen, open only to workshop participants. Repertoire requirements are: one art song by Edvard Grieg, and one operatic aria of the singer's choice. The competition, held in a concert setting, is open to the public. The first prize winner will be singing a Grieg song with orchestra in Bergen. The jury will consist of professional singers from Norway.
